The descent of the goddess into the underworld is an ancient archetype, echoed in mythologies and religions across cultures. This powerful story reflects the journey of the maiden into the darkness, where she learns profound lessons, confronts her shadow, and evolves into the mature mother and wise crone.

The underworld symbolizes the subconscious—the hidden thoughts, emotions, and beliefs we suppress or feel shame around. By facing this inner darkness, we can release anxiety, shed the fear of judgment, and embrace a life of authenticity and wholeness.
